PostSubject: Hidden Arsenal - Release of Duel Terminal cards   Tue Oct 27, 2009 10:47 pm

Looks like Konami finally figured out how it's going to distribute the Duel Terminal cards.

Hidden
Arsenal will release in November, and consists of a 30 card set from
the first Duel Terminal series. Each pack contains 5 foil cards,
similar to the Premium Packs. Additionally, "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice
Barrier," "Mist Wurm," and "Ally of Justice Catastor" have been
confirmed. Information courtesy of Shriek, as usual.

Since
there are 30 new cards and 20 reprints in every 50 card Duel Terminal
set, then the set list might look like this, but keep in mind that this
is in no way confirmed.

HA01-EN030
Evolution Burst
Select
1 face-up "Cyber Dragon" you control. Destroy 1 card your opponent
controls. During the turn you activated this card, the selected "Cyber
Dragon" cannot attack.

If this is the set list then...well, it's
pretty unspectacular, barring the three confirmed Synchros. Soldier of
Mist Valley is nice as well. But more importantly, this means that
we'll probably get other Duel Terminal Sets through Hidden Arsenal 2,
etc, which means we finally see Duel Terminal exclusives outside of
Starter Decks.

I can't wait to see someone try and/or actually make myself a Kuriboh/Winged Kuriboh abuse deck. Maybe throw in some Sky Scourges...

Dang it, now I'm thinking about it...

Well if its a winged or kuriboh abuse deck you can only have 3 of one card or spell. You might last a few turns but overall with winged kuriboh combo/LV 10 might work >_>

I know. But now with all the support cards for the Kuribohs, plus the many recycling options, one might be able to make an interesting deck, especially since the Sky Scourges only work with Dark Fiends and Light Fairies, (and, just fyi, Kuriboh is a Dark Fiend, and Winged Kuriboh is a Light Fairy).

Basically you could stall and occasionally take the offensive before finishing with a oober powerful monster that could wipe the field. Or, like you said, Winged Kuriboh's evolutions are pretty sweet too.
